About the role

  • Support the Engineering Manager in organizing this competency horizontally, structuring strategies/drivers and driving them with the teams, together with the other Chapter Leads and Specialists in the horizontal;
  • Lead attraction and development strategies for software development professionals (1:1s, Individual Development Plans, hiring/termination);
  • Within the vertical you are part of, act as a leader by supporting product leadership in structuring teams and the technical foundation for effective product operation;
  • Perform people management and development activities;
  • Support the horizontal operation so that processes, tools and capacity are adequate for developers to work together with the verticals and deliver quality products;
  • Lead software engineering discussions with leaders of other technical horizontals, seeking to understand business strategy and product roadmaps, ensuring delivery progress through established drivers;
  • Pair with GPMs and PMs to understand the main business challenges;
  • Promote adoption of new technologies aligned with the architectural model to solve business problems;
  • Connect other technology areas to enable business demands and needs.
