About the role
- Trusted with meaningful, production-level work from the outset
- Contribute directly to development and enhancement of core platforms and services used by large public and private sector institutions
- Join a specialised engineering team focused on a distinct area of the technology stack
- Improve scalability of infrastructure and back-end systems
- Enhance performance of anti-phishing detection systems
- Develop tools to monitor and analyse web vulnerabilities
- Refine user interfaces for internal and external applications
- Help scale classification system processing over 15 million URLs daily
- Contribute to automation of workflows that remove malicious content from the internet
- Work with experienced engineers and receive mentorship in a culture of open communication and continuous learning
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset
- Demonstrable ability in imperative programming
- Interest in internet technologies, network security, data mining, or web-based UIs
- A solid academic track record
- Good communication skills and fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Experience working collaboratively in teams
- A well-developed sense of caution and ability to plan for the future with suitable programming abstractions, automated test suites and version control
- Willingness to learn; prior cybersecurity experience not required
