About the role
- Software Engineer in Quality at ArmorCode, working on API manual and automation testing for enhancing product delivery. Collaborating with teams to ensure software quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Work on Automation to ensure continuous delivery of the product
- Build/Automate using Rest Assured/Selenium and execute the scripts/tests to maintain a robust Software
- Monitor and track resolution of defects, and effectively communicate it in daily standup
- Execute manual test cases, analyze results, check logs, data in database and report issues in a bug tracking system
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues not covered by formal test cases
- Work with the quality, development and field teams to ensure product quality and usability
Requirements
- Desired experience range is 4 to 7 years
- Knowledge of automation language, tool, and scripts such as Java, Selenium or TestCafe, Postman
- Good Knowledge of SQL or no-SQL DBs (MySQL, mongo, redis, etc.)
- Experience in API and/or Backend testing
- Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills
