About the role
- Contribute to the development of Parafin’s suite of embedded financial services products
- Build performant, reliable, and usable products in embedded finance
- Learn software fundamentals and execute high-quality code across the tech stack to support product development and enhance system reliability
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the company to design and build new products and experiments
- Work in a high-growth environment, learn from experienced engineers, and grow technical skills and independence over time
- Solidify best practices and contribute to foundational engineering work at an early-stage growth company
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (graduation Summer/Winter 2025 or Summer 2026)
- Eligible candidates will have graduation dates in Summer/Winter 2025 or Summer 2026
- Care deeply about building high-quality software and take immense pride in your craft
- Excited to work with a team to drive the development of the product from 0 to 1
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals
- Excited about working on a small team and helping set the foundations for the company
- Growth mindset and eagerness to learn
- Intern/co-op experience with typed backend languages, async workflows, or data/ML pipelines (preferred)
- Exposure to fintech/payments, experimentation, or reliability/observability work (preferred)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions (application asks) or indicate if sponsorship will be required
- Comfortable with Parafin’s hybrid in-office work policy (on-site Tuesday through Thursday)
