Design and build backend services using Ruby on Rails with a focus on secure and scalable care delivery systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop features that improve internal operations and support our mission of accessible mental health care
Contribute to the design of data models that support evolving business and clinical use cases
Implement automated tests to ensure code reliability and system integrity
Help improve observability and monitoring to maintain system reliability at scale
Participate in code reviews and team discussions to support high engineering standards and shared practices
Debug and resolve issues efficiently, contributing to platform stability and maintainability
Requirements
3–5 years of professional software development experience
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and experience writing automated tests with RSpec
Experience designing and maintaining APIs (REST or GraphQL)
Familiarity with secure data handling practices in a healthcare or regulated environment
Comfortable working in Agile teams and navigating changing priorities
Bonus: experience with Docker and AWS
