About the role
- Software Engineer I developing and maintaining core banking applications for Logix Federal Credit Union. Collaborating with teams to gather requirements and ensure software quality.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining software applications related to core banking systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, code, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Ensuring the integrity and reliability of core banking systems, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support.
- Participating in system upgrades, integration projects, and contributing to the overall improvement of the core banking software infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Experience in a structured development environment.
- Experience with Symitar Episys PowerOn is highly desirable
- Recent and relevant experience with the following technologies: object-oriented design and programming, secure coding practices, Java, C#, and base understanding and experience with web technologies (JavaScript, JSON, XML).
- Development with SQL Server databases, views, triggers, and stored procedures.
- Learn and discover existing tools and processes to apply them along with their academic knowledge to achieve simple tasks.
