About the role
- Senior Product Engineer at Replit leading initiatives for innovation in software creation platforms focused on next generation creators. Collaborating on disruptive projects in a high-visibility role.
Responsibilities
- Replit is the agentic software creation platform that enables anyone to build applications using natural language.
- Product Foundry is Replit's internal engine for innovation.
- Our purpose is to launch high-risk, full-stack 0→1 initiatives that define and establish entirely new product categories.
- We build for the next generation of creators and high-leverage users and enterprises, equipping them with tools that enable them to build anything, anywhere.
- Reporting to high visibility role, working as a collective of in-house technical founders.
- Rapid iteration and market validation via 3-week sprints per initiative.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Technical company founding entrepreneurial or high visibility side projects experience preferred but not required
- Understanding of the full agentic software development stack, helping coding agents build, test and review correct code.
- Strong track record leading complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience building and operating platform systems that other teams depend on
- Strong product judgment: you can balance UX, speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability
- Comfort working in modern web stacks such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, Postgres
