About the role
- Full Stack Software engineer on LS&H RWD DRG Fusion team
- Work on a Startup product with various stakeholders from different departments
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Angular, Java, Spring boot, Microservices, AWS cloud and associated frameworks
- Develop, design, and maintain Java applications, including back-end services and client-end interfaces
- Interact with Product, Technology Development leads and Managers to understand business problems and convert them into technical deliveries
- Create technical documentation for the broader team
- Be a key member in a 20+ member development team reporting to the Manager Software Engineering
- Collaborate globally and occasionally work off-hours to adjust to various global time zones as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor/master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java, Spring boot, JAX-RS, Microservices Architecture, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AWS cloud
- Experience in version control system Git and GitHub
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Develop, design, and maintain Java applications, including both back-end services and client-end interfaces
- Troubleshoot and debug skillset
- Write technical documentation
- Good hands-on practice in SQL Queries
- (Preferred) Knowledge of or prior experience with Healthcare or Lifesciences domain
- (Preferred) Strong communication & analytical skills
- (Preferred) AWS Certifications from Beginner to Advance or any cloud certification
- (Preferred) Working familiarity with Jenkins, Docker
- (Preferred) Familiar with Agile methodology
