About the role
- Software Engineer III at F5 designing and developing commercial management planes for NGINX. Collaborating with peers in a hybrid role focused on enhancing web technologies and software malfunctions.
Responsibilities
- Design, development, and sustainment of commercial management planes within the NGINX product line.
- Perform as an individual contributor and collaborate with peers under the direction of technical leads on assigned project teams.
- Assess and address complex software malfunctions.
- Mentor junior engineers with various aspects and help their technical growth.
- Build tools and infrastructure to improve F5’s components and features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree; and/or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in relevant roles.
- Deep understanding of Web technologies (JavaScript, HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs etc…)
- A skilled coder in GO language.
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge and experience with cloud orchestration ecosystems like Kubernetes and AWS/Azure public clouds.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
