About the role
- Build and maintain robust software testing frameworks to support development of complex software systems and embedded solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and configure software for automotive ECU applications
- Develop and optimize Test Environments as a Service (TEaaS) and provide HIL test environments
- Connect software solution configuration tools to test environments
- Support SW testing and test environment setup, including HIL/SIL and automated regression testing
- Troubleshoot across framework, hardware interfaces, communication protocols, and embedded software
- Participate in CI/CD and version control workflows for deliveries
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience, focusing on backend development of test- and integration solutions for automotive and embedded software applications
- Full proficiency in Python with hands-on backend development experience
- Ability to understand and work with C++ and C# for embedded and low-level systems programming
- Familiarity with software design patterns, SOLID principles, test-driven development (TDD), and clean code practices
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience with real-time operating systems and real-time communication protocols (e.g., CAN and Ethernet)
- Solid understanding of version control principles with Git (GitLab or similar) and experience setting up/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Practical knowledge of test platforms/test environments tailored for embedded and/or automotive systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Willingness/ability to travel 0-25%
