About the role
- Software Developer II at CPI Card Group, responsible for designing and debugging software applications. Collaborating on both routine and complex software solutions while adhering to industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supports the organization’s Software Development efforts that build new software functionality, enable effective system integrations, improve system security and enhance existing software application performance and capability.
- The Developer II is responsible for designing, coding, documenting, testing and debugging code across a number of end user/business applications.
- May also be involved in requirements gathering and documentation as well as leading smaller projects.
- The role utilizes multiple lower-level and object-oriented programming languages and working with complex relational databases.
- The role typically works on both routine and more complex issues, often requiring development of solutions that rely on past experience, thorough understanding of business objectives/requirements, the organization’s application environment and ability to effectively utilize a wide range of development tools/languages.
