About the role

  • Develop and execute social media strategies through research, benchmarking, and audience insights to strengthen brand and product visibility.
  • Create, publish, and manage engaging content that drives awareness, consideration, and conversion across social media channels.
  • Optimize and maintain company pages, ensuring consistent branding and maximum visibility across platforms.
  • Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience interactions in line with community and brand guidelines.
  • Plan and manage editorial calendars, posting schedules, and campaign timelines.
  • Track and analyze social media performance, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts, amplify campaign reach, and support business objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Assist in planning and running company and marketing events, ensuring social media and on-ground activities work together to engage audiences both online and offline.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Marketing / Mass Comm or any related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, and events planning & management.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and their best practices.
  • Good writing and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
  • Good in visual creation and video editing skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • A team player with strong collaboration skills and a passion for connecting online engagement with real-world brand experiences.
  • Willingness to travel or work beyond regular hours when supporting events or campaigns.
  • You'll shine if you have:
  • Familiar with social media analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in using canva and CapCut to create visually appealing social media graphics and videos that align with brand guidelines.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage, both writing & speaking.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, social media management, or productivity is an added advantage.
  • Creative and resourceful, passionate about social media trends and events, with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership to see ideas through to completion.
