Mid - Level Paid Social Media Manager focused on day - to - day management of paid social PPC campaigns. Setting up and optimizing campaigns across various platforms in a hybrid role.
About the role
- Manage daily publishing across Beatsource and DJcity.
- Surface relevant content, conversations, or moments where our brands can actively participate.
- Lead certain filming and editing tasks for short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts.
- Use industry-standard apps and devices to shoot and edit compelling, thumb-stopping, brand-aligned content.
- Bring social-first, conceptual ideas to the table for original Beatsource and DJcity content series and story franchises.
- Collaborate with the wider video and content teams to maintain consistency in brand identity across the brands you’re working on.
- Support the Social Media Manager with execution of social campaigns tied to releases, partnerships, or cultural moments.
- Maintain an organized, up-to-date content calendar for each brand.
- Monitor emerging trends in music, social media, and nightlife culture.
- Ensure all content posted is managed in Hootsuite and our proprietary systems for series-based reporting and orderly data retention.
Requirements
- Deep familiarity with DJ culture and the global music community, particularly open format.
- Confident using TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube – and the wider social landscape.
- Experience filming and editing short-form video content using tools or native social editing apps.
- Conceptual thinker and originator of creative ideas.
- Solid understanding of platform best practices and how to craft content for different formats.
- Understanding of what makes content engaging and how to capture the attention of your audience.
- Clear and concise communication skills—both in writing (for captions and copy) and in collaboration.
- Strong time management and organization skills to manage multiple brands and deadlines.
- Ideally up to 40 hours per week availability
