About the role
- Senior Wireless Analog Mixed Signal Development Engineer developing RF systems for Riedel Communications. Engaging in audio and communication technology projects in a hybrid work environment in Wuppertal, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Work on development projects in audio and communications technology
- Shape the technological direction of new products
- Design RF system architectures for mixed-signal transmit and receive circuits
- Analyze product requirements and derive specifications
- Create test plans and perform laboratory validations
- Execute RF design validations through to evaluation
- Programming in C and C++ in RTOS or bare-metal environments
- Automate RF tests using Python
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in RF design
- Strong knowledge of RF signal processing down to baseband
- Focus on analog high-frequency electronics, complemented by mixed-signal and digital experience
- Proven experience in the design, development, and measurement validation of RF systems
- Solid knowledge of Python and C++ and experience with automation
- Practical experience in productization and certification of radio systems
- Knowledge of wireless communication technologies such as 4G/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, or DECT is a plus
- Ability to take technical leadership of projects or teams
- Enthusiasm for technical challenges and a team-player mindset
- Excellent written and spoken English
