About the role
- Senior Water Resources Engineer designing water infrastructure for varied client base at LJB. Managing projects from planning through design and construction support in Ohio and North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and design of a wide range of water resources and civil infrastructure projects
- Manage and deliver engineering projects from concept development through final design, permitting, and construction support
- Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables
- Interface with clients, stakeholders, and public agencies to build and maintain strong professional relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams, including CAD designers, EITs, and GIS technicians, to develop comprehensive engineering solutions
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or equivalent software
- Strong background in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (2D modeling experience preferred)
- Familiarity with GIS tools and applications is a plus
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal stormwater management regulations
- Ohio PE or the ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
