About the role

• UX/UI Designer role focused on supporting product teams at Veepee through the entire design lifecycle, creating mock-ups, and collaborating with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the product team by providing specialized UX/UI expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create mock-ups, run workshops, and present concepts to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with development and tech teams.
• Oversee product versions and their evolutions.
• Monitor product iterations and propose enhancements based on research findings, data, and business insights.
• Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of the design system, both at a product and system level.

Requirements

• Systemic design thinking.
• Expertise in UX and UI design methodologies.
• Ability to conduct research and apply data-driven insights.
• Proficiency with design systems and versioning processes.
• Familiarity with tech languages and limitations.
• Fast-paced execution: thrive in a rapid-iteration environment, shipping high-quality work quickly, and keeping feedback loops tight between design and engineering.
• Versatile design expertise: extensive experience designing across both web and mobile platforms.
• User-centric focus: a passion for creating seamless, user-friendly experiences, with an acute attention to detail in UI design. You continuously strive to enhance and streamline the user experience through thoughtful and iterative design.
• Great communication skills: proven ability to communicate design concepts effectively to a multicultural team, including executives, engineers, and other designers. Your ability to articulate the rationale behind design decisions is key.
• Proven senior experience: a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a senior designer in a product-driven tech company, with a portfolio that showcases your ability to deliver impactful design solutions.
