About the role

  • Participate in review of product requirements for testability
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for new and existing Enablon software products
  • Identify test scenarios for automation and develop the automation scripts
  • Support continuous integration, continuous deployment and automation testing strategies
  • Submit, track, and escalate product issues found during testing and reproduce issues to assist development
  • Interface with Product Development to communicate and resolve reported issues before release
  • Mentor and train other QA engineers and assist on special projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Monitor code changes to understand impacts on test coverage and execution
  • Introduce process improvement initiatives and develop/document testing strategies and procedures
  • Develop status reports and recommendations based on test results and participate in customer documentation reviews
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis reviews and perform other duties as requested by Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant software testing work experience
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented software languages
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with automated and manual testing using TestCafe, TypeScript and/or related tools & technologies
  • Experience with QA processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests
  • Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, TestComplete
  • Knowledge of end-to-end test frameworks such as TestCafe or Playwright (bonus)
  • Familiarity with .Net & GCP (bonus)
  • Experience supporting CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) and automation testing strategies
  • Strong MS Office skills with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working in a global environment and with cross‑geography/regulatory differences
  • Experience with SAFe and/or scrum agile ways of working
  • Ability to reproduce issues, perform root cause analysis, and communicate issues to development teams
  • Ability to mentor/train other engineers and provide technical leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organization, initiative, and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
