About the role
- Lead and motivate a team of Test Engineers, providing coaching and line management support.
- Supervise commissioning, testing, and calibration activities in line with Clyde Safety Management Arrangements.
- Liaise with planning teams to ensure work is scheduled and resourced effectively.
- Support the creation and authorisation of test forms, procedures, and technical reports.
- Drive efficiency and utilisation across the commissioning team.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes.
- Mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding expertise.
- Proficiency with IT systems including spreadsheets and MS Office.
- Commitment to Health & Safety principles in all work.
- Ability to manage priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or HNC (or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline).
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
