About the role

  • Support and lead the use of Microsoft’s project management tools (Project Standard/Professional, Project Server, Project Online, Planner, Project Apps) across client and cloud environments
  • Develop strategies for M365 project management tool adoption and on-premises migration to promote cloud adoption
  • Support Project Server on-premises, Project Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams-connected project management services and integrations
  • Support and build Power BI and Power BI Report Server reporting associated with Project Management services, including end-customer training
  • Provide support and training for Visio products (perpetual and online)
  • Communicate and work directly with Microsoft teams to address issues, lifecycle product management, and support
  • Identify emerging business and customer-driven requirements for project management tools
  • Design, lead and develop project management solutions using cloud-based tools and services
  • Create and manage customer educational resources, demos, tips, Q&A, Teams Channels, and recurring public forum meetings
  • Support transition of on-premises project management tools to cloud solutions and enterprise architecture
  • Lead, direct, and manage Portfolio/Program Management requirements and Enterprise PPM capabilities
  • Develop methodologies to ensure projects are accurate and auditable
  • Provide project management oversight and facilitation for SharePoint Online & Teams integration, implementation activities and strategies
  • Participate in and lead customer engagements, consultation, requirements gathering, training and product demonstrations
  • Provide On-Call Rotation Support (weekly rotation) for escalations and customers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and other M365 collaboration tools
  • 5+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure DevOps/Git or AGILE development
  • 5+ years of experience with on-premises systems, including servers, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and basic data center management
  • 3+ years of experience with standard project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Project Server
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience with Project Server, Project Online, Project Standard, Project Professional, Project Apps, Planner (including Planner for the Web), Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure services, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Provide support and training for Visio products (Visio Standard, Visio Professional, Visio Plan 1 and Plan 2)
  • Ability to communicate and work directly with Microsoft and cross-functional teams
  • Provide On-Call Rotation Support (escalations, customers)
  • Export control compliance: must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
  • Security Clearance: position requires ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required for final clearance)

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (e.g., Secret, Top Secret)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • Experience with PowerShell, SharePoint Online (SPO) and Microsoft Graph
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
  • Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
  • Experience with Software testing, running demos, and technical demonstrations
  • Experience with Service and Technical Architecture
  • Experience with SharePoint, Project Server User Forum Planning and Facilitation
  • Experience with Technical Change Control and Coordination
  • Experience with System Account Management
  • Experience with Process and Knowledge Management
  • Experience implementing/configuring/supporting DoD, FedRAMP, GCC-H environments and security/compliance standards (DFARS, NIST)
  • Experience with Technical Operations Coordination and Cross Functional Teams
  • Experience with web interfaces and user experience
  • Effective communications with leadership, stakeholders, and team members
  • On-Call Support experience
