- Senior Engineer developing and maintaining stablecoin infrastructure and features for Sokin’s payments platform. Transforming global payments through crypto solutions with a growing tech team.
Responsibilities
- Ownership of the entire engineering lifecycle from concept to production and release
- Involved primarily in backend development with contribution to the frontend
- Responsible for designing, building, deploying and maintaining new long-term features and services
- Implement robust, scalable stablecoin infrastructure
- Design and implement cross-chain bridge solutions
- Build and maintain integrations with leading stablecoin protocols and their APIs
- Develop smart contracts for custom stablecoin functionality
- Implement transaction monitoring, screening, and compliance controls
- Build robust APIs and webhook systems for stablecoin functionality
- Mentor engineers across the organization on stablecoin technology and blockchain development
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 1+ years working directly with stablecoins and blockchain technology
- Deep understanding of major stablecoin mechanisms
- Hands-on experience integrating with stablecoin APIs
- Strong knowledge of EVM-compatible blockchains
- Experience with alternative Layer 1 blockchains
- A track record building and deploying production smart contracts
- Senior-level proficiency in backend development
- Strong experience with smart contract development and testing frameworks
- Deep understanding of cryptographic primitives
- Strong database skills with both SQL and NoSQL systems
- Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of payment systems architecture
- Knowledge of banking APIs and payment networks
- Experience with financial compliance requirements
- Strong security mindset with experience in secure coding practices
- Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions
