Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy backend services using Python and AWS infrastructure
- Contribute to full-stack features leveraging JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and AI/ML teams to ship customer-impacting features
- Build and maintain scalable, secure APIs that integrate with third-party services
- Take ownership of end-to-end product development — from ideation to production release
- Champion best practices in code quality, system design, and DevOps automation
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the evolution of our engineering culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend or full-stack systems
- Are fluent in Python, AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.), and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Are product-minded — you think about customer value and user experience as much as technical execution
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments where autonomy and clarity coexist
- Have a strong understanding of modern architectures (microservices, event-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines)
- Care about building reliable, maintainable systems that scale
- Enjoy working collaboratively across time zones and disciplines.
