About the role
- Build connections between different practice management systems and Nelly backend systems
- Build and maintain Rust-based applications, from locally running clients to transaction-based backend systems
- Integrate on-site practice management systems with the Nelly platform with performance and platform-agnostic considerations
- Work with modern technologies including AWS and manage infrastructure as code
- Take ideas from concept to implementation, impacting customers within days
- Contribute to defining, maintaining and improving architecture and engineering best practices
- Collaborate within a driven engineering team and cross-functional stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 5 years as a software engineer
- Coding skills in Rust
- Proficiency in data and API modelling
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full development life cycle
- Strong team-player mentality
- Bonus: experience with AWS, security best practices and Windows Native APIs
- Proficiency in English; German knowledge is a plus
