About the role
- Provide technical leadership to design and architect software solutions to meet business needs
- Develop object orientated software code in high level languages such as Java or Python
- Develop web based front end software in the ReactJS framework
- Debug software issues and find root causes of common faults
- Participate in scrum/agile development processes
- Work on large scale applications for enterprise or government customers in defence and cybersecurity
- Collaborate with international teams from the Malaysian Global Delivery Centre to deliver engineering services
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience as a software engineer
- Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related field
- Technical leadership to design and architect software solutions
- Developing object orientated software code in high level languages such as Java or Python
- Developing web based front end software in the ReactJS framework
- Debugging software issues and finding root causes of common faults
- Being involved in scrum/agile development processes
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Articulate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Objective, logical and enquiring mind
- Creative, persuasive and team player
- Awareness that many roles are subject to security and export control restrictions which may affect eligibility
