Responsibilities
Collaborate with software development professionals on an agile team supporting five distributed applications which support the Payment/Check process work stream
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet client needs while leveraging understanding of function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Provide support for vendor developed software
Requirements
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of JAVA code development experience
2+ years working in an Agile environment
3+ years support vendor applications that run on Windows and Linux servers
2+ years of vendor developed software (COTS)
4+ years of Cascading Style Sheets experience
2+ years of GitHub experience
2+ years of multi-threading experience
1+ year of Microsoft SQL Server experience
1+ year of Oracle experience
1+ year of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
1+ year of MQ Series Messaging experience
3+ years of JavaScript development experience or equivalent
2+ years of WebSphere experience
2+ years of C#.NET experience
1+ year of Mainframe experience
2+ years of experience with Eclipse IDE or equivalent
2+ years Tomcat Deployment and configurations
