About the role
- Design, build, and maintain core product features using React and TypeScript, ensuring code quality, performance, and accessibility.
- Own end-to-end development across the frontend stack, from architecture to deployment. With some willingness/ability to contribute on the backend.
- Review and mentor code contributions from peers, driving best practices and raising engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate creative and technical requirements into elegant, user-centric solutions.
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless product functionality.
- Contribute to design discussions, technical planning, and roadmap prioritization.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across multiple environments.
- Enhance documentation and developer tooling to improve velocity and team effectiveness.
- Champion resilient, maintainable code and a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong expertise with React and TypeScript in production environments
- Proven experience architecting and shipping frontend applications end-to-end
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and make clear technical tradeoffs in fast-changing environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with a product-first mindset
- Comfort with modern tooling (e.g. Vite, nx, Redux, Storybook, Webpack)
- Experience reviewing code, mentoring peers, and upholding engineering best practices
