About the role
- Lead design, implementation, and verification of software components, subsystems, modules
- Write efficient and maintainable code in C++, C, and Python for driver control, HMI, algorithm implementation, and UI application development
- Explore and propose innovative solution approaches
- Ensure code quality and maintainability, perform code reviews
- Lead architectural decisions and take ownership of high-quality software solutions
- Mentor and review work of (junior) engineers and share expertise
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international, multidisciplinary, and agile environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in software development with C++, C, and Python in the high-tech domain
- Experience with O.O. (object-oriented), UML, Unit testing, Agile and design principles
- Experience writing efficient, maintainable code for drivers, HMI, algorithms or UI applications
- Team player, solution-oriented, and proactive
- Motivation to continuously improve and develop new skills
- Good command of English; preferably Dutch
