About the role
- Build scalable, reliable, and performant systems for ecosystem developers and end users
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and build ecosystem capabilities
- Create and review technical specs and provide feedback to developers
- Own features end-to-end from development to deployments and ensure a high quality bar
- Provide key extensibilities within Postman enabling 3rd-party apps to build safely and securely
- Work across frontend, backend, and middleware and collaborate with product and platform teams
Requirements
- Have a Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working on Java, NodeJS, ReactJS or similar technologies
- 8+ years of experience building backend or full stack services
- Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience building scalable distributed systems
- Have a keen focus on quality and velocity
- Fast learner and ability to be self driven
- Experience across frontend, backend and middleware (0-1 product development)
