About the role
- Refine, design, and deliver product requirements
- Work with a cross-functional team in an agile methodology
- Participate in roadmap, release, and sprint planning
- Write clean, well organized code while making appropriate trade-offs between performance, robustness, extensibility
Requirements
- Solid software development experience covering the full life cycle of the development from design to testing, release and ongoing support
- Experienced in Node.js (Mandatory) and Kotlin to help us build backend solutions. Need experience with Typescript as well.
- AWS experience across one or more of the following: EC2, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda and S3
- Knowledge on how to structure, develop and maintain relational databases such as MySQL
- Experienced with or want to learn key/value store databases such as DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB and Redis
- Understand code testability, build pipelines, Docker and CI/CD systems
- Experience in testing automation
- Keep up with best practices, latest technologies and programming languages and frameworks as needed
- Liaise and work with the product team, and other technology and delivery teams to deliver high quality software solutions
- Ability to work on a user story from inception to production independently with a cross-functional mindset
