About the role
- Senior Software Engineer developing a cross-platform 3D engine for Topcon's MAGNET products. Collaborating on software development and implementation across various operating systems including Windows, Android, and iOS.
Responsibilities
- Work on cross-platform 3D engine.
- Implement new features and fix defects.
- Participate in full life cycle development of MAGNET products, deliver source code.
- Analyzing requirements, clarifying tasks, proposing optimal solutions, and estimating workload.
- Works with the project manager and software team to plan and manage delivery schedules.
- Follows and implements software processes.
- Attend team meetings and functions.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Solid professional experience in C++ development of 3D graphics with DirectX11/OpenGL.
- Experience writing HLSL/GLSL shaders.
- Overall software development experience for at least 5 years.
- Experience in software development process implementation.
- Experience with software development tools (configuration management, design, emulation, debugging, compilers, test etc.).
- Experience with GNSS and/or Optical Survey will be a plus.
- Experience with software development for Android will be a plus.
- Knowledge of SQLite and experience with databases (design and queries)
- Experience in cross-platform application development and GUI frameworks.
- 3D graphics/geometry programming experience is a plus.
- Experience with MFC/Visual Studio.
- Knowledge of Java and experience in native iOS/Android APIs and development.
- Experience in development tools, version control, and code quality control.
- Experience in software architecture design and design patterns.
- A good command (both written and speaking) of ENGLISH language is required for the job.
