About the role
- Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at CR2 leading automated testing frameworks for digital banking solutions. Collaborating with Agile teams to ensure quality and reliability of software.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
- Provide QA effort estimates, contribute to backlog grooming, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
- Execute manual test cases where automation is not feasible.
- Identify, log, and track defects.
- Set up and maintain test environments and test data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
- Proven experience in regulated industries such as banking, fintech, or payments.
- Hands-on experience with: Front-end and back-end test automation
- API testing and automation
- Mobile testing (Android/iOS)
- CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with XML, SQL scripting, and test data management tools.
