About the role

  • Senior Software Developer enhancing the campus management software academyFIVE using PHP. Working with an agile team and implementing new features for educational institutions.

Responsibilities

  • You develop our campus management software academyFIVE based on PHP and are responsible for its maintenance and optimization.
  • You evaluate and optimize our software architecture together with the architecture team.
  • You share your knowledge with other developers through training and mentoring.
  • You design and implement interfaces to external software systems.
  • You design new software features as part of one of our SCRUM teams.
  • You help shape our software academyFIVE using innovative technologies.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a career changer with at least 10 years of professional experience in PHP development
  • Proficient in writing and using unit and integration tests
  • Familiarity with relational databases, preferably MySQL
  • Experience in frontend development with frontend frameworks, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Basic knowledge of *nix systems
  • Enjoy experimenting with new technologies and continuously developing your skills
  • Team player with a sense of humor, quality awareness and a solution-oriented working style
  • Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
