Senior SAP HR Time & Attendance Systems Analyst at BASF, designing and supporting SAP HR Time Management across North America. Collaborating with HR, Payroll, and IT for efficient operations in a diverse environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the end‑to‑end design, integration, and support of SAP HR Time Management across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico
Ensure accurate time capture for union and non‑union populations and rigorous adherence to regional labor regulations and union agreements
Serve as the subject‑matter expert for complex scheduling, clocking and non‑clocking solutions, and KABA time clock integrations
Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to drive compliant, efficient, and data‑reliable operations
Design and configure SAP HR Time Management (schemas, PCR/rules, work schedules, time evaluation) for diverse union and non‑union groups
Develop and maintain complex work schedules and shift patterns (rotations, premiums, calendars)
Integrate and support KABA time clock systems end‑to‑end
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT to streamline time data processing
Ensure compliance and data integrity by implementing controls that meet regional labor laws
Stay current with SAP updates and industry best practices, evaluating OSS notes, support packs, and enhancement options
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP HR Time Management
Proven expertise in Time and Attendance configuration for North America (US, Canada, Mexico)
Solid understanding of regional labor laws, union contracts, and compliance requirements
Strong knowledge of KABA clocking systems and experience supporting non-clocking environments
Demonstrated ability to manage complex work schedules, including rotating shifts, overtime rules, and union-specific agreements
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Project management or team leadership experience will be a plus
Familiarity with integration tools and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI) will be a plus
