- Senior Product Engineer leading product development and innovation cycles at woom, ensuring technical viability for complex projects. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and managing CAD data for manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Act largely independently and assume the technical lead for large, complex projects
- Lead the technical product development cycle from initial concept to industrialisation
- Align regularly with Project Management to organise and moderate interdisciplinary project meetings
- Define and coordinate Engineering work packages and track their delivery
- Pre-qualify designs using advanced methods, including DFMEA
- Own the CAD data and create complete 2D manufacturing drawings
Requirements
- A proven track record in the bicycle or consumer goods industries
- Familiarity with plastic product engineering is an extra plus
- Excellent proficiency in SolidWorks (3D CAD)
- Well-versed in and up-to-date with Product Data Management tools
- Fluent in English; German is a definite plus.
