About the role

Responsibilities

• Own the full design process from discovery and ideation through UX flows, prototyping, and delivering innovative, intuitive user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and other cross-functional partners to define, validate, and ship impactful features.
• Translate complex, data-rich workflows into human-centered interfaces.
• Contribute to and evolve Carbyne’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across platforms.
• Explore and apply emerging AI tools and technologies to enhance both the design process and user experience.
• Advocate for users, accessibility, and design excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
• Elevate design quality and collaboration by sharing best practices and inspiring others.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product design within SaaS or technology-driven organizations.
• A portfolio showcasing creative and methodical product thinking, strong visual design foundations, and clear impact on shipped products.
• Deep understanding of UX processes and research, combining quantitative and qualitative insights to inform design decisions.
• Proven experience designing complex, data-rich systems and workflows.
• Practical experience with AI tools to enhance design processes and user experiences.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, design systems, and responsive UI patterns.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, proven to drive alignment and impact in agile, cross-functional environments.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with global teams.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
