About the role
- Play a key role in building customer-facing experiences and internal tools in a high-traffic environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP/Laravel.

- Work with SQL databases to design, implement, and optimize data models.
- Integrate backend services with third-party platforms such as Shopify.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, technical documentation, and code reviews.
- Mentor and support other engineers, promoting clean and maintainable code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven expertise in PHP with hands-on experience in the Laravel framework.
- Advanced English level for effective communication in meetings and documentation.
- Strong experience designing and maintaining backend applications and APIs.
- Solid knowledge of SQL databases.
- Ability to contribute as a fullstack engineer when needed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with React, Remix, and strict TypeScript.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Node.js.
- Nice to have: Experience with Shopify.
- Nice to have: Exposure to GCP or Azure cloud environments.
- Nice to have: Experience in monorepo or modular repository setups.
