• Senior Mechanical Design Engineer managing HVAC system design and operations for Equinix data centers. Leading projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer mentors junior engineers.
• Performs the planning, system design, system implementation and support of our data center HVAC systems.
• Lead small to medium scale HVAC projects and the roll out of mechanical HVAC engineering initiatives.
• Plans and directs day to day operations and strategic direction of delivery of either a construction project or delivery of operations for a data center facility.

Requirements

• 7+ Years of related experience in a critical facility or data center environment
• Knowledge of data center HVAC mechanical engineering design
• Efficiency and data modeling
• Experience developing and managing projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
