About the role

  • Address and resolve daily payroll processing issues
  • Provide direction and guidance to direct reports, site payroll assistants, and HR personnel
  • Make payroll process changes for efficiency and compliance
  • Oversee distribution of paychecks and payroll runs
  • Participate in selection of departmental personnel
  • Recommend and approve personnel actions
  • Monitor direct report performance and provide coaching

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of DOL and FLSA, and state payroll regulations
  • Knowledge of LTI plans, ex-pat processing, relocation activities
  • 8+ years experience in a large payroll processing environment
  • 8+ years experience with payroll processing for multiple states, and leading multi-location and multi-EIN payroll processing
  • 5+ years direct experience with payroll tax processing and related activities, including year-end, W-2
  • 5 years+ management and leadership experience
  • Ex-Pat payroll processing and related activities
  • Working experience with 401k and other benefit plans, LTI and deferred compensation activities, and relocation
  • Workday and TimeHub experience
