- Senior Legal Counsel providing legal guidance and strategy for Buena, a property management company. Collaborating across departments and influencing business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance across Buena and its subsidiaries, covering corporate law, real estate, labor & employment, compliance, and data protection
- Develop policies and internal processes to embed strong governance and regulatory compliance
- Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of contracts (commercial, supplier, partnership, employment)
- Anticipate risks, advise senior leadership, and propose pragmatic solutions
- Manage and coordinate external counsel, ensuring quality and cost efficiency
- Support business teams with training and updates on legal and regulatory developments
- Contribute to Buena’s long-term legal strategy, including building and developing an internal legal team
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer in Germany (2nd State Exam)
- 3-5 years’ of relevant professional experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and real estate law; interest in compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Fluent in German and English
- A commercial mindset: able to see legal as an enabler, not just a safeguard
- Excellent communication skills, able to work across departments and influence senior stakeholders
