About the role
- Senior iOS Engineer developing scalable mobile experiences for the instadriver app at instacar. Leading design and collaboration efforts in a fast-growing company focused on innovative transportation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the instadriver iOS application, ensuring high performance, stability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and deliver impactful features that elevate the driver experience.
- Champion clean, maintainable code and best practices in mobile development through code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
- Write and maintain unit and UI tests to ensure quality, reliability, and regression-free releases.
- Actively contribute to architectural discussions and long-term mobile strategy, helping to shape the direction of our mobile platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with advanced proficiency in Swift.
- Proven track record in shipping and scaling high-quality iOS applications, ideally in cross-functional, product-focused teams.
- Strong grasp of the entire mobile development lifecycle, from concept through delivery and support.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization techniques.
- A user-first approach and keen eye for design, UX, and detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to mentor, guide, and inspire others.
