About the role
- Design, implement, and validate hardware test benches for audio amplifier production using CAD tools (Altium, etc.)
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by adapting R&D designs for scalable and cost-effective manufacturing
- Develop and optimize PCBs, analog/digital circuits, and electronic interfaces for industrialization
- Organize and oversee pre series production and testing processes
- Write and maintain technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional communication with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and external contractors
- Investigate and resolve hardware-related issues during development and production
- Monitor the electronics industry to identify and integrate innovative technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with EMC, electrical safety, and certification standards
- Focus on reliability and performance as top priorities in design and implementation
- Coach and support other team members within the team
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics
- 5-10 years of experience in Electronics hardware development
- Proven expertise in analog/digital circuit design, PCB layout, and simulation (e.g., SPICE)
- Experience with DSP, FPGA, power electronics, and component technologies
- Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, audio analyzers, RF analyzers)
- Knowledge of EMC and electrical safety standards
- Familiarity with automation tools (LabVIEW, …)
- Coding knowledge in C, Python is a strong asset
- Good soldering skills and hands-on troubleshooting capabilities
- Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German or French is a plus
