About the role
- Fullstack Developer responsible for developing web applications for Banco Santander in a global project. Ensure code quality and mentor junior developers while adhering to best development practices.
Responsibilities
- Work on a global project to deliver commercial tools in the countries where Banco Santander operates.
- Design, develop and maintain responsive, accessible web applications with a focus on high usability and performance.
- Ensure code quality through practices such as:

Requirements
- Knowledge of distributed microservices architecture, event-driven architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience developing Java microservices (Spring Boot) and with Apache Kafka.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React and Angular.
- Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility and web performance.
- Familiarity with build tools, version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of automated testing (Jest, Cypress, JUnit).
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with collaborative tools (Jira and Confluence).
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
