About the role
- Deliver technical capability and direction for platform and application infrastructure that supports strategic initiatives
- Advise on tactical and strategic issues relating to established technology and future adoption
- Carry out complex design, development, testing, documentation, code review and analysis of software applications and technical specifications
- Creatively enhance existing product lines with new capabilities and features
- Focus on product enhancements and solutions for complex problems and integrate developed software utilizing user interfaces and data
- Engineer sophisticated new solutions for large-scale go-to-market system offerings covering Keyloop's product line
- Act as subject matter expert in technical leadership, direction, and design and mentor others
- Participate in the development lifecycle with focus on new features across service layers, integration, user interfaces and data
- Propose product enhancements and adoption of new technologies and follow engineering standards and metrics
- Evaluate requirements and mock-ups, make technology recommendations to support construction, maintenance, and performance
- Back-end development of applications and API development and ownership of thorough quality control
- Take ownership of major incidents coming from Production and aid Product Manager to identify best technical solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics or related field
- 5 - 9 years of experience in C#, .NET 6+, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework
- Experience in building MVC based applications, microservices and serverless applications
- Experience in designing and building persistence layers using relational and non-relational database
- Experience in Web Services protocols - REST, SOAP API design for extensibility and portability
- Experience with automated testing frameworks, such as: xUnit, nUnit, Moq, nSubstitute
- Solid experience in modern version control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic) and debugging distributed systems with high data loads
- Fluency with object-oriented design patterns
- Good understanding and prior experience of the Agile process (Scrum or Kanban)
- Existing knowledge or experience in the automotive industry (plus)
- Some exposure to modern JS frameworks, preferably React (plus)
- Deep understanding of API management and governance (API Management, APIGee) (plus)
- Understanding of DDD concepts (plus)
- Understanding of CQRS principles (plus)
- Experience in AWS is a plus
