About the role
- Improve onboarding story to help users understand in-product how to best use the platform for WhatsApp business
- Iterate on activation and retention flows to help customers discover features and complex workflows
- Implement new WhatsApp-specific features as they are released by Meta
- Mentor the rest of the team in designing and developing user-first web platforms, sharing UI/UX knowledge
- Collaborate closely with product and sales/Go-To-Market teams to understand user goals and implement changes
- Rapidly ship and iterate on features, focusing on MVPs and customer feedback
- Craft better onboarding flows and customer journeys to increase activation and retention
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a full-stack or frontend role with strong design and UI/UX knowledge
- Understands and uses WhatsApp daily, with knowledge of WhatsApp for Business
- "Startup mindset" with a bias for shipping MVPs quickly and iterating
- Experience with object-oriented languages (mainly Python with Django)
- Experience with frontend languages and frameworks: Typescript, React, Tailwind
- Experience with data stores: PostgreSQL and Redis
- Experience developing SaaS systems using REST APIs, microservices on Kubernetes, and third-party integrations
- Dedication to quality, with a focus on thorough testing and quick responses to customer feedback
- Familiarity with GraphQL and tools like Gitlab, Vault, Grafana, Sentry, Datadog, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Ability to mentor teammates and collaborate closely with product and sales/Go-To-Market teams
