About the role

Senior Full Stack Engineer developing scalable web applications at flaconi for product detail pages and customer engagement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle technical challenges in e-commerce.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using modern technologies such as Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
Architect and implement microservices and APIs that are secure, efficient, and maintainable.
Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver customer value.
Ensure code quality and maintainability through best practices such as automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and clean architecture.
Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions, helping shape the future of the PDP platform.
Mentor and support other engineers, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and a smooth user experience across platforms.
Stay current with emerging technologies, introducing tools and frameworks that improve productivity, performance, and developer experience.
Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to enhance deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, and observability.
Work with monitoring and analytics tools such as New Relic (for performance and observability), and integrate with partner solutions including Criteo (sponsored products) and Yotpo (customer reviews).

5+ years of full-stack development experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and Next.js as core technologies.
Proven experience designing, building, and evolving large-scale web applications in a production environment.
Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures, with experience designing for scalability and maintainability.
2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway); familiarity with the Serverless Framework is a plus.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC); Terraform preferred.
Hands-on experience with at least one SQL and one NoSQL database (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis).
Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and advocate for best practices such as CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Domain-Driven Design, and observability.
Strong communication skills in English, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
Practical experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) delivering customer-facing products.
Nice to have
Previous experience in e-commerce, especially with product detail pages (PDPs), catalog systems, or conversion funnel optimization.
Experience with GraphQL for data-rich front-end applications.
Expertise in frontend performance optimization (rendering speed, SEO, caching strategies).
Familiarity with frontend performance monitoring, A/B testing, and conversion optimization practices.
