About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP/Laravel
- Build and optimize frontend features using React
- Work with SQL databases to design, implement, and optimize data models
- Integrate backend and frontend services with third-party platforms such as Shopify
- Apply best practices for performance, scalability, and testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features
- Contribute to architectural discussions, technical documentation, and code reviews
- Mentor and support other engineers, promoting clean and maintainable code
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Proven expertise in PHP with hands-on experience in the Laravel framework
- Strong experience in frontend development with React
- Solid knowledge of SQL databases
- Ability to contribute as a fullstack engineer, working across backend and frontend
- Advanced English level for effective communication in meetings and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Nice to have: Experience with Remix and strict TypeScript
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Node.js
- Nice to have: Exposure to GCP or Azure cloud environments
- Nice to have: Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing frameworks, or experimentation tools
- Nice to have: Experience in monorepo or modular repository setups
- Nice to have: Experience mentoring or leading other engineers
