About the role

  • Support the forecasting, budgeting, reporting and long-range planning processes across multiple business units
  • Partner with sales leadership, operations, production, and supply chain teams to understand and improve forecasting for sales projections, cost drivers, headcount and other operating expenses and capex planning
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including P&L, cash flow, working capital forecast, and scenario analyses
  • Analyze COGS, margins, and working capital trends to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Prepare monthly management reports and KPI dashboards, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness
  • Continuously improve financial systems, tools, and processes to support scale and efficiency
  • Drive automation and improved reporting using advanced Excel modeling and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Support ERP implementation and reporting hierarchy evolution
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as required
  • Potential to grow into M&A/Strategic Finance role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA a plus
  • 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or consulting with analytical responsibilities, ideally within a manufacturing, inventory-based, or physical goods environment
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing operations
  • Experience building complex financial models
  • Excellent understanding of GAAP accounting concepts and ability to apply them to forecasting
  • Advanced Excel skills — complex modeling, scenario analysis, and automation (macros, Power Query, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft 365+) and data visualization tools
  • Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects to completion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analysis to business partners and company leadership
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
