About the role

  • Analyze transmission engineering and analyses of proposed Eversource transmission investments
  • Prepare and submit data, reports, presentations, and compliance filings regarding Eversource transmission projects
  • Monitor Eversource transmission projects and resource interconnections
  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline data collection and reporting
  • Represent Eversource at ISO New England and NEPOOL committees
  • Scrutinize technical reports related to the operational and economic impact of clean energy resources
  • Support regulatory compliance filings/reporting in federal, regional and state arenas

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering required
  • Master’s degree in engineering preferred
  • 5 to 8 years of related experience
  • Ability to interpret and analyze key regional transmission planning studies
  • Experience testifying in state or federal regulatory proceedings helpful, but not required
  • Understanding of economic theory and wholesale electricity markets.
  • Must have technical knowledge of the New England transmission grid.
