About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer leading design and development of electrical systems for commercial and K-12 at Kingscott. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of electrical power, lighting, life safety and security systems for commercial and K-12 educational buildings
- Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through completion
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in the selection of electrical systems
- Conduct detailed site inspections and assessments
- Mentor and train junior engineers
- Interface with clients to understand project requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with prior K-12 design experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects
- Proficiency in electrical design software and lighting design calculation software
- Proficiency in Revit
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
