About the role
- Electrical Engineer responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for commercial buildings at Aurecon. Collaborating with clients and experts to deliver innovative engineering solutions in Jakarta.
Responsibilities
- Produce designs, documentation reports, proposals, and specifications
- Perform calculation and analysis to meet client requirements for projects of reasonable complexity
- Contribute to project planning
- Assume responsibility for planning and managing resources of small projects or parts of larger projects
- Execute feasibility studies, project definition, concept design, specifications, and design documentation
- Coordinating with drafter in terms of drafting checking
- Providing design reviews of electrical project proposals
- Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals, tenders, specifications etc.
- Assisting in tender evaluation for expressions of interest and capital works tenders
- Complete analysis and design of ELV, LV, MV, and HV power, lighting, lightning, earthing system, communications services
- Prepare submission procedures and design standards
- Carry out site investigations and audits to develop and improve designs
- Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate effectively with internal team, Clients, Architects, Contractors, and Authorities from concept to detail design and construction.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Electrical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings
- Data Centre Experience will be preferred
- Experience in Data Centre or Telecommunications is preferred but not mandatory
- Demonstrated leadership and team management ability
- High level engineering consulting and client management skills
- Experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects to blue chip clients
- Excellent communicator (in both English and Bahasa)
- Sense-making communication skills
- Experienced in delivering innovative and complex commercial building projects in a fast paced environment.
