About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer designing PCB-based electrical systems for energy storage solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with product requirements and performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the design and development of PCB-based electrical systems, including creation of circuit schematics and selection of suitable electronic components.
- Designs multilayer PCB layouts, performs design rule checks, and ensures adherence to relevant industry, safety, and EMC standards.
- Prepares manufacturing and assembly documentation, such as Gerber files, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly drawings.
- Supports prototype builds, including testing, troubleshooting, validation, and iterative design improvements.
- Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., mechanical, firmware, testing, manufacturing) to ensure alignment with overall product requirements and performance targets.
- Receives task assignments and performance oversight from the designated functional manager, according to the current organizational structure.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional experience in electrical design, preferably in power electronics or industrial energy systems.
- Understanding of medium- or high-voltage systems and grid-connected products is an advantage.
- Proficiency in schematic design, component selection, and PCB development.
- Familiarity with relevant safety and EMC standards.
- Ability to support testing, validation, and troubleshooting in a lab environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.
